ACHIEVEMENTS (2016-17)

We are grateful to the Hon’ble District Collector-cum-Chairman, Vidyalaya Management Committee for his constant support towards the management of the vidyalaya.  For increasing the height of the compound wall, Rs.25 lakhs has been sanctioned from the M.P. fund through our District Collector’s effort and the same was utilized for cement flooring in the quadrangle inside the boys dormitory for the purpose of night study and watching T.V. in the open space.

PROPOSALS:-

We would like to express our major problems of this vidyalaya and propose for recommendation.

1.      Our vidyalaya is located in coastal belt getting more heat. We are conducting various CCA activities, counselling programmes, CBSE exams, in the M.P. Hall. It is very difficult to make children to sit for more than 3 hours under heat. Hence, asbestos sheet should be replaced by G.V. sheets.  An estimate amount of Rs. 9.5 lakhs had been submitted by PWD for this purpose. We request our chairman, VMC to recommend ONGC for the sanction of the above budget for us to solve this problem.

2.      Our school has got sanctioned by NVS for the construction of OHT which is urgently needed to meet our water scarcity. Our Chairman strongly recommend this issue to NVS, Hqrs. for release of fund to CPWD.

         3.      Digging of deep bore well is proposed to MLA Smt. Chandra Priyanga has permanent                solution for getting of running water.  She agreed to support for the expenditure of                      digging cost after the purchase of the materials by JNV.  We expect this work will be                  done in 2017-18 academic year.

         4.      JNV is covered a vast area of 30 acres having lots of bushes and reptiles.  We have NSS             unit in Karaikal.  If NSS Camp is to be conducted in the month of April’2018 the                         campus will be cleaned and safety for the student’s stay will be ensured.  We request                   Principal, Arignar Anna Arts College to recommend the NSS units to conduct Camp in               our Vidyalaya.

I thank all the parents for their support. I also thank all the PTC members for their kind co-operation. I thank all my colleagues who work with untiring zeal and dedication. And above all, I thank the almighty for his abundant blessings.

Thanking You,

                                                                                                 (P.HELEN MARY)
